STAR Mayan Limited has acquired 100% of the shares in Aeroserve MSP and Euro Ltd (“Aeroserve”)

5 March 2019

STAR Mayan Limited, the parent of the SynergyLMS group, has acquired 100% of the shares in Aeroserve MSP and Euro Ltd (“Aeroserve”) for an undisclosed sum.

Aeroserve provides bespoke laundry and cabin fulfilment services to the UK airline industry, complemented by the provision of quality linen services to the hospitality sector.

Star Mayan Limited was established to own and develop laundry and associated service businesses. It is backed by funds managed by STAR Capital, a European private equity fund manager that was founded in 1999 with the goal of acquiring and developing asset-based businesses that provide an essential service to their customers.

This is Star Mayan Limited’s third investment, the first being the acquisition of Synergy Health Managed Services Ltd trading as SynergyLMS in July 2016, the second largest independent provider of linen services to the UK health sector, followed in Spring 2018 by the acquisition of Grosvenor Contracts that provides specialist services to the health, education and office sectors.

Mike Langhorn MD of SynergyLMS said:

“I am extremely excited that Aeroserve is joining the SynergyLMS group. The companies are very complementary from a customer and services perspective and I’m especially delighted that both Pritpal and Manvinder Purewall will continue to lead the business going forward.”
